First of all, thank you for stopping by and for your interest in 4 Paw's Elements and who I am and what I offer.
I have always been an animal lover - all my life! I consider myself very lucky to have been raised by wonderful, also animal loving parents on a little hobby farm in Germany. As long as I can remember we always had dogs, besides horses, birds, chicken, bunnies and at one time also a turtle. I always felt a really deep connection to animals and their welfare has always been important to me.
The same is true for people. As a teenager I started my work-life by working in a care home, then I went on to work in the field of Human Resources for 13 years in a big industrial company. Later on I branched out into the world of holistic medicine and became a naturopathic practitioner in Germany. This interest was fostered and nurtured since being a teenager. Specializing in Acupuncture took me to beautiful Canada, where I currently run a successful Acupuncture and Wellness clinic in Forest Grove, BC.
Lifelong learning is my passion. Over the years I took many different classes to advance my knowledge, to deepen my understanding and to further my skills, so that I can help as many people as possible to feel better and enjoy their life. Meditation teacher training, aromatherapy, energy medicine, integrative nutrition health coaching, etc. are just a few examples of what I have studied. Check out my other homepages at www.acucomfort.ca and www.alexandraherold.com to find out more.
For years I wanted to branch out, to not only help people, but also animals to feel better and do better. And I finally came up with an idea on how to exactly do both and help both at the same time, the human and their dogs - and that's how "4 Paw's Elements" was born. I took classes to become a Dog Care Provider (studied at Good Dog Academy), and a Dog Industry Entrepreneur (also at Good Dog Academy). I took Dr. Ian Dunbar's 4 days online Sirius Dog Trainer course, became certified in First Aid for Dogs (DogSafe) and also took courses in animal communication, dog walking and how to raise healthy independent puppies. And I am sure there will be much more to come!!
I live together with my wonderful, loving husband John and my amazing 11 year old son, who is also a total animal lover and dog whisperer. We just lost two most amazing dogs, Mocca, a 12 year old Puggle, and Luna a 11 year old German Shephard, but are happy to have 1 year old German Shepherd, Journey, to be with us.
I am very grateful for everything I have and for all the opportunities life brings.
I feel blessed to be able to work with humans and animals alike and to be allowed to take care of either one of them. I hope my work will make a difference in your andtheir life.
If you feel inclined to work with me, then I would be happy to hear from you!
